There are three categories of Prophetic dreams according to Colette Toach in “The Way of Dreams and Visions”

Today’s Issue, Issue 23 will be dedicated to “Internal Dreams”

Issue 24 will be dedicated to “Internal Prophetic Dreams”

Issue 25 will be dedicated to “External Prophetic Dreams”

As was stated in Issue 22, Internal Dreams pertain to you and you alone.

• It involves your current spiritual condition.

• Your current ministry.

• Your current relationship with the Lord.

• The condition of your soul.

• Any and everything having to do with you.

Things from your past will be highlighted. Unresolved issues, family issues, ancestral issues, etc. All about you!

All the symbols in an internal dream are about you. All the different characters, objects and symbolic references are about you.

They represent:

• your emotions.

• your will.

• your mind.

• your body.

• and your spirit.

They represent your:

• struggles.

• your triumphs.

• and obstacles in your life.

Many of these dreams will simply be the Lord edifying you as His child. Expressing His love and commitment to you, encouraging you and cheering for your success.

Identifying an Internal Dream.

In an Internal Dream:

1. You are the main character.

2. You are the hero.

3. The star of the dream.

You are active in what is happening in the dream.

• You are involved.

• You are participating.

• You interact with the characters in the dream.

These things are indicative of an Internal Dream.

Examples:

Lets say you are pregnant in a dream. Yes, man or woman (It happens).

• This is obviously symbolic. (If you are a woman, than the rest of the dream will tell you if this is symbolic or not. Most likely it is.)

• The message is that something new is being birthed in your life.

• It will take time. (maybe 9 month, maybe longer, maybe you are going into labor.

• Labor would mean a time of pain or anguish, a trial that will be brought to a conclusion. Followed by great joy.

Let’s say the baby is deathly ill. This means:

• Your gift is dying. You need to address your current spiritual situation.

If You have two children with certain personalities and one or both of them is in your dream. For an Internal Dream their personalities are directly being attributed to something about you.

• Child A is impulsive and acts before they think. (Don’t use this dream to correct your child, this is about you.)

• Child B gets lost in projects and activities and forgets their Responsibilities.

• If Child A is a main character in your Internal Dream then you need to check yourself with regard to Child A’s traits.

• Likewise, with Child B.

In Summary, An Internal Dream is all about you, and you identify this type of dream, by your activity in the dream.

Most of your dreams are about you.

It is an Internal Dream:

• If you are involved in the dream and with the characters.

• If you are the main character, or hero of the dream.

Everything in an Internal Dream is about you.

• People, their characteristics, or their jobs, or personalities, or something about them.

• Symbols, likewise, relate to you in some way.

• Everything!
